Charlie Davis I purchased a fantastic mixtape while trying to get a job at the bar. I didn't know what to expect, but as soon as I listened to it, I could feel the hard work of Hugo & Daniel shining through. The way in which the songs are blended together is unreal! Although there are a few songs that don'tblend as well for me, there are others that are so well-done that they seem like a piece of music in themselves.

This has definitely given me incentive to share the tape and recommendation with friends.

Milney’s Mixtapes presents its third release, “A sunny day on grey street” by Hugo Incognito and Daniel Pisano.

Hugo Incognito & Daniel Pisano recorded this mix over six days on Grey Street in early spring when it was still cold and wet in Melbourne, and even colder in Pisano’s apartment. With the panel heater cranked up to ten and two bags filled with soul warming records vibrating out Pisano’s monitors, which permeated through an air of friendship and mutual understanding, the two pulled together this 90 minute mix in time to soundtrack your sunny summer afternoon gathering. Due to delays the cassette landed in autumn, something which Hugo Incognito & Daniel Pisano expected, preemptively titling their cassette ‘Sunny day on grey street’ in the hope it packs enough heat to edge out the dullness of the grey winter months and any seasonally induced mediocrity in your day.
